Situated in Cowes and East Cowes on the Isle of Wight, the Classic Boat Museum has been telling visitors its wonderful maritime story since 1996. The Museum is across 2 sites and consists of the Boat Shed and the Gallery.

The Boat Shed in Cowes (West) has an impressive collection of nearly 90 boats, from classic yachts, motorboats, and lifeboats. 

The Gallery in East Cowes has an extensive collection of maritime artefacts, boat models and photographs.

Opening Times 

The Gallery will re-open Saturday January 10th 2025. Open Tuesday
to Friday 10am to 1pm (last entry 12.30pm) & Saturday 11am to 3pm (last entry 2.30pm).
Closed Sunday and Monday.

The Boat Shed, Cowes

Opening Times

The Boat Shed is closed over the Winter. It will re-open April 1st 2025. Open every Tuesday
& Friday 10am - 4pm (Last entry 3.15pm).
