THE BOB CASSON COLLECTION

When Bob Casson lived and worked in East Cowes he quietly amassed an astonishing collection of 35m slides taken by himself of every notable sailing event in the Solent.  All meticulously labelled, they have still to be evaluated but are available for research.  Further, he collected press cuttings from a wide range of magazine publications which again he kept in pristine condition, and which came to the Gallery by kind permission of his family after his far too early death last year.
