Barton Primary School Year 4 students visited the museum for new approaches to geography on the 5th January. Learning all about the mouth of the River Medina was the theme of our geography session. Using the outside as stimulus for exploring our museum collections inside, the children used their experiences to create their own models of the Medina River with the New Carnival Company, with thanks to Creative Island and the Museum’s and Schools project.
